Full banksman role with CSCS card – Immediate Start and Pay rate 8 Per hour
Banksman Job Description
The main purpose for a Banksman presence on this site is:
- a) To protect the customer’s staff/Public from injury and property from loss caused by theft and accident.
- b) To control and monitor all contractors and vehicles in and out of the Building Site areas.
- c) To provide a point of contact within the estate team for contractors.
- d) To ensure building site hoarding and gates are being maintained.
- e) To assist and advise the estate team as necessary on matters of security within the building sites.
Banksman must ensure that:
- a) They are aware and fully understand the emergency procedures for the site
- b) All instructions, both written and verbal are adhered to.
- c) Banksman is correctly dressed and briefed to their particular duty.
- d) Provide security escort to all areas of the building site as and when required.
- e) They have a Valid CSCS card (Banksman)
- f) They have a Basic understanding of Security Procedures
- g) They are Presentable when on duty
Banksman would ideally:
- a) Be Level Minded and have Effective Communication skills
- b) Have Previous Banksman Experience
- c) Have Banksman Qualifications
It would be Advantageous to have:
- a) Previous Experience on site.
- b) Up to date First Aid Qualification.
- c) Up to date Fire Marshall Training.

Accident book as necessary
Site instructions
Building site check and unlock every morning,
Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are complied with.
Liaise with Contractors and Estate team
Main point of contact for all contractors working on site.
Provide access to contractors where appropriate.
Complete site documentation as required.
Respond to requests for service from clients and visitors.
Process deliveries.
Building site check and lock down every evening at the end of each day.
